BOLZONI GROUP OPENS NEW FACTORY IN FINLAND We have the pleasure of announcing that AURAMO OY - our Finnish subsidiary and production plant - has moved to new headquarters in the industrial area of Järvenpää, 40 km north of Helsinki. Built on an area of 5.500 sq.m., the factory is dedicated to the manufacturing of an extensive range of forest handling attachments for efficient and damage-free handling.

From July 1st 2014, BOLZONI AURAMO and MEYER join forces in Portugal. The product ranges of both brands will be distributed throughout Portugal by BOLZONI PORTUGAL LDA, a company formed by Joaquim Mafra, Luis Silva and BOLZONI SPA, with facilities in Palmela.

Bolzoni Auramo Canada has taken an important step in strengthening its position on the Canadian market, with the opening of new premises in Mississauga, Toronto Area. The recent months have been really special for Bolzoni Auramo BV, Holland. In May 2013 Bolzoni Auramo celebrated 10 years of activity in Benelux.

Starting from 8th March 2013 BOLZONI AURAMO and MEYER join forces in Italy. The product ranges of both brands will now be distributed in the Northern Italy regions through BOLZONI S.p.A., head office of the group located in Piacenza, and in regions of Centre and South Italy through BOLZONI ITALIA S.r.l. located in Prato, company formed by the merger of BOLZONI AURAMO S.r.l., Bisceglie, and MEYER ITALIA S.r.l., Prato.

The Bolzoni Group has won the KION SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR award for 2012. The award was presented to Roberto Scotti, Bolzoni's CEO by Otmar Hauck, Chief Operating Officer of KION Group and Linde Material Handling GmbH, during the KION SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR ceremony held on September 6th in Wiesbaden, Germany, attended by representatives of the main KION suppliers.

The Bolzoni Group boost its fork production capacity with the new plant located in Longhua Town, Jing County, Hebei, 250 km south west of Beijing. On May 25th Bolzoni Huaxin Co. Ltd. was inaugurated with an official Opening ceremony attended by the local and district government officials together with approx. 400 national and international guests.

In the 1990s Canada was the largest exporter in the world of forest products amounting to 25 million tons. Following the increasing demand of Canadian paper mills and printing companies for damage free handling solutions, in 1992 the Finnish forest products manufacturer Auramo decided to establish a new company Auramo Ltd in Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec, a region accounting for the largest share of total paper production. In 2001, Italian Bolzoni acquired Finnish Auramo and later the Canadian subsidiary changed its name to Bolzoni Auramo Canada Ltd, further extending its range of lift truck attachments.
